Saturdays are perfect for beer, a little run/jog/walk, BBQ, and some live music. So, bring it on!
Think you can run a 2.9K while focusing on drinking some brews too? That’s your goal. Complete a 2.9K and drink 4 beers in between laps: Drink, then run x 4. How do you win? Complete the Beer 2.9K in the fastest time… or anytime really.
What exactly is included? A koozie to keep (which we’ll mark your beers off on), 4 canned beers, camaraderie, a finish line party, and supporting an amazing charity!
There are three options to participate in BEER 2.9K. You will choose one when you register:
*Individual Participant (4 beers, 4 laps)
*Full Grown Man Participant (Yes, this means you drink 4 Full Grown Man stout beers that clock in at 12.1% ABV. )
*Relay Race (a team of 4 – each drinking 1 beer and doing 1 lap)
EVENT DAY TIMELINE:
*10:30 PM = Check In
*11:00 PM= Pre-Race Beer
*11:30 PM = Race Begins
*12:00 PM = Pit Pals BBQ vendor is ready for lunch!
*1:00 PM = Live Music Starts from Rory Payne and the Medicine
Drinking beers is NOT required. There will be other options available like, soda, water and tea. If you plan on participating in the BEER 2.9K race, please bring a DD or take a Uber/Lyft home.
