National Breast Cancer Foundation and TUPPS Brewery partner for a beer release just in time for Breast Cancer Awareness month.
MCKINNEY, Texas (October 2, 2019) – TUPPS Brewery partners with one of the leading breast cancer organizations in the world, National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF), headquartered in Frisco, Texas. The collaboration started back in August of 2018 when Founder and President, Keith Lewis, met the NBCF team to discuss a special beer specifically to raise money and awareness for Breast Cancer.
“I have many friends and family members that have been affected by cancer. My dad passed away from brain cancer, my very close and dear friend passed away from pancreatic cancer and I have another good friend of mine that is on her third round of fighting breast cancer. It has impacted me and I know it impacts everyone,” said Keith Lewis, Founder and President of TUPPS Brewery. “One of the first projects we completed at TUPPS was building a tree of old rusted pipes. We had people come in and paint a bottle with a story or picture to honor someone they know that has or had cancer. The tree is completely full of bottles and is displayed in our Beer Garden outside of the brewery.”
Rising Hope is an American Ale brewed with fresh, organic Pink Guava purees. Beginning in October, it will be available on tap in bars and restaurants and available in six packs in retail stores like Kroger, Market Street, Central Market, Total Wine, Specs, and more! Each six pack has a different can design to represent all the people affected by cancer… a friend, a mom, a daughter, a grandma, a husband and a sister.
“What’s wonderful about this campaign is that it’s about bringing people together and about honoring people that we love,” said Kevin Hail, President and COO of National Breast Cancer Foundation. “Rising Hope is about giving us hope that we can get through any dark time together.”
TUPPS Brewery will be scheduling many demos around the DFW, Austin, San Antonio and Oklahoma areas where you will be able to try a taste of Rising Hope before you snag a six pack to take home. TUPPS will also host events at bars and restaurants where you can grab a pint of Rising Hope on tap! Follow TUPPS on social media to stay in the loop on which stores will carry Rising Hope and upcoming events we have planned for Rising Hope.
